Focus of Activities

Peter Häussermann is active in the fields of auditing, tax consulting and business management consulting. His areas of responsibility include the auditing and preparation of annual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Law (HGB) and IFRS, as well as the processing of special tax issues, tax structuring advice and business management support for clients. One focus of his work is tax and business consulting for “non-for-profit institutions”. Furthermore, Mr. Häussermann has many years of experience in auditing and advising production, trading and service companies with a wide variety of corporate law backgrounds (internationally active medium-sized companies, listed companies, private equity portfolio companies, sales companies of multinational corporations, public sector companies/public law institutions); in this context, advising Italian clients is a particular focus of experience.

Education / Career

Peter Häussermann holds a degree in business administration and studied business administration at the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken, majoring in “auditing” and “business taxation”. From 1996 to 2011 he worked in the auditing department of a Big Four company in Munich. He was appointed tax consultant in 2000 and auditor in 2002. Before joining BTU in mid-2011, he was commercial manager of an internationally active medium-sized group.
